Un titolo che potremmo definire perfetto The Fighter perché questo film racconta sì di un pugile ma è soprattutto la cronistoria di un combattimento costante di un uomo contro chi, per un malinteso concetto di amore (fraterno o materno che sia), rischia di soffocarne per sempre la personalità. David O.Russell betting everything on the dynamics of the relationship between brothers and Christian Bale gives him in the role of Dickie, one of his most complete performances and full of humanity. Accustomed to change his physical at will (remember the performance of The Machinist?) Goes even further this time. Him in the eyes, even when it is in the foreground, all the desperate need to be appreciated for what could be and was not in life. Aron Ralston, 26 anni, entusiasta dello sport e della libertà, si concede una giornata di biking e trekking nel Blue John Canyon dello Utah. Sole, musica, paesaggi mozzafiato e un fortuito incontro con due belle escursioniste che si prestano a tuffi e risate: cosa chiedere di più? Tornato solo, però, scendendo un crepaccio, Aron smuove inavvertitamente un masso vecchio di milioni di anni e si ritrova immobilizzato, con un braccio bloccato tra questo e la roccia, praticamente senza cibo né acqua. Sopravvivrà 5 giorni in condizioni fisiche e psicologiche gravissime, arrivando, per liberarsi, a segarsi il braccio con un coltellino. Da sempre Danny Boyle intende il cinema come uno sport estremo.

Meet our is the third installment of the tragicomic misadventures of family Fotter Greg (Ben Stiller), struggling with his gruff father Jack Byrnes (Robert De Niro). Stiller and De Niro back so to interpret the characters of the hit film series opened with the comedy Meet the Parents and continued with the first sequel Meet the Fockers', two films that have recorded record takings at the box office. The cast, along with De Niro and Stiller, will meet even the actors from previous movies: Owen Wilson and the two consuoceri " d'eccezione, Dustin Hoffman e Barbara Streisand ai quali si aggiungono inoltre Laura Dern, Jessica Alba e Harvey Keitel. Quando l'intero clan di Greg e Pam - incluso l'ex di Pam, Kevin (Owen Wilson) - arriva per festeggiare il compleanno dei gemellini, Greg deve dimostrare allo scettico Jack di essere perfettamente capace di essere l'uomo della casa. Ma con tutti i malintesi, le spiate e le missioni segrete, riuscirà Greg a superare l'ultimo test di Jack e finalmente diventare il prossimo patriarca della famiglia... o sarà rotto per sempre il cerchio della fiducia?

Much appreciated by the critics, since after the war one of the incunabula of neorealism, now has for its dryness style (not without influence of Soviet cinema), the discovery of the landscape, the courageous choice of popular characters and types, efficacy installation, the task as a hero and creator of Garibaldi that while there is physically only six quick shots.

Three southern boys (Dominic, Angelo and Salvatore) react to the heavy Bourbon repression of the uprisings of 1828 that involved their families join the Young Italy. Through four episodes in which they are involved in various capacities are retraced some of the events of the process that led to the unification of Italy. From arrival at the club Cristina Belgaum in Paris and the failed attempt to kill Carlo Alberto and the failure of the uprisings of 1834 ladyfingers. These events will bring the three to divide.
